In the year under review, different categories of students were admitted to the Department: Senior High School graduates (generics) were admitted to level 100 at Miotso campus as full-time (morning) students; Registered Nurses were admitted mid-stream at Mataheko and Miotso: State Registered Nurse (SRN) Certificate holders entered at level 200 and Registered General Nurses (RGN) with Diploma entered at level 300. The Registered Nurses programme was run on afternoon and weekend bases. This arrangement made it possible for some of them to combine work with study.
