Mrs. Doris E. Yalley is a seasoned educationist with a rich teaching experience; 12 years of which has been at the tertiary level. She currently lectures at the School of Theology and Missions in the following areas: Church Historical Studies, African Traditional Religion, Philosophy and Culture, Ecclesiology and Eschatology, Missions to the Contemporary Society.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, in the Study of Religions in 2016 at the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra. 

Contemporary Ghanaian pilgrimages; Non-institutional processes of ‘sacralizing’ places; Religion and Morality are a few of her research interests. A Christian Perspective of Sexual Morality among the Youth in Ghana is her self-authored work. Pathway to the Sacred (Manuscript) is soon to be published. Her current articles include: Contemporary Ghanaian Methodist Spirituality; Pilgrimage Drive, The Case of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Ghana.
