MS ELIZA AMOAH
She worked at Nyaniba Health College as a lecturer from 2010 to 2014 and taught Medical nursing, Basic nutrition and Basic midwifery. She also worked at Tema General Hospital from March 1995 to December 2009. During the period, she worked for two years at the hospital’s Training Unit; mentoring nursing students, orientating new staff and students, assisting in planning and running workshops for permanent staff and participating in quality assurance activities in the hospital. She worked at the Reproductive and Child Health Unit for three years providing preventive nursing care in the following areas: Antenatal, Postnatal, Family Planning, Immunization, Adolescent Health, and School Health Services. She also has six years of practical experience in curative nursing, during which she worked at the Labour, Pre and Postnatal wards for three years, and Medical and Surgical wards for another three years. She is currently a Lecturer at the Central University since December 2014 and lectures in Public and other nursing subjects.
She is a fellow of Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International.
