A very astute biomedical scientist with over nine years practicing experience in a teaching hospital in Ghana (KATH) , during which I was involved in several studies, notably amongst are the  KATH site, Children Hospital of Philadelphia and KATH collaborative research in new born screening and infection studies in sickle cell disease in Ghana between 2003-2009 where I was in charge of confirming the diagnosis of sickle cell disease of newborns initially screened at the Nouguchimemorial research center in Legon and also responsible for laboratory aspect of their management at the sickle cell clinic KATH. I was also involved in the (malaria parasite count, G6PD etc.) KATH site, GlaxoSmith Kline group phase III multi center randomized double blind study to compare the efficacy and safety of Chlorproguanil-dapsone-artesunate versus chloproguanildapsone in the treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria in children adolescents and adult in Africa. I am a holder of a double bachelors, one as a physician assistant from central university and the other as a biomedical scientist from KNUST as well as a master of philosophy in biological sciences where I studied the morphological variations of the human placenta and fetal well being

New born screening for inherited metabolic and genetic disorders in including sickle cell Perineonatology : Oxidative stress and histological features of the maternal vascular response to placentation in normal and complicated pregnancies in Ghana
