A delegation of some senior pastors from the International Central Gospel Church led by Rev Morris Appiah,the General Secretary on Wednesday 11th September 2019 made a presentation of 10 branded lecterns and 10 portable public address systems to the University.

Welcoming the delegation at the Miotso campus, Professor Bill Buenar Puplampu, the Vice Chancellor was grateful for the kind gesture and described it as an answer to prayer. He emphasized the need for a deeper relationship and collaboration between the Church and the University since the Church is the owner of the University. He also expressed his gratitude to the various regional overseers of the ICGC he had visited so far and promised to visit many more in order to further strengthen the Church-University relationship.

Making the presentation,Rev Morris Appiah informed the attendants that this was in response to the Vice Chancellor’s proposal for more assistance from the Church in order for the University to bear an imprint of its owners. He also promised that this donation was the beginning of many more things to come.

Rev. Dickson Tuffuor Sarpong, the Regional Overseer of the Eastern-Volta zone of ICGC announced that the public address systems were from his zone and more will be supplied in the near future.

The University’s appreciation was conveyed in the vote of thanks by Mrs Stella Etse, In-charge, Academic and Student Services.

Mr Emil Afenyo, the Registrar moderated the brief ceremony and assured the delegation that the items would be put to their intended use.

Rev Anthony Cudjoe, the Regional Overseer, Accra South prayed for the university and asked for God’s blessings in every aspect of the University’s life.
