The Vice Chancellor, Professor Bill Buenar Puplampu has called on students and staff to believe God for his protection in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic while playing their part by observing the preventive protocols.

Making reference to Exodus 4:23-26. He admonished the congregation during the third chapel service in the semester to be smart and do what is required at every moment like Ziporah did in order to save her husband Moses from God’s wrath.

He encouraged everyone to remain thankful to God for preserving our lives and giving us a new year. He assured all gathered that the management of the University will do its best to provide a safe environment for all students and staff but will not hesitate to sanction those who flout the Covid-19 safety protocols.

Ministering in songs at the service was worship leader Mr.Eugene Zuta who led congregation in praise and thanksgiving to God for his many blessings.

The University Chaplain, Rev Dr Fred Brako encouraged all who were present as well as those who joined virtually via the University’s Facebook and Instagram pages to remain positive, prayerful and proactive this semester as we trust God for a very fruitful academic year.

Chapel services are regular Wednesday worship services on all Central University campuses and it is one of the avenues to deepen the spiritual formation of students.
